Dual Polarisation Radiometers

The RPG-DP instrument is a modular dual polarisation (DP) radiometer system for surface and rain observations. It can be used in a wide field of applications, where polarisation effects are significant:

soil moisture
ocean salinity
surface snow
emissivity measurements

It is a stand-alone system for automated weather-station use under nearly all environmental conditions. Up to 4 receiver modules - each observing at orthogonal polarisations - can be combined on a scanner
